Congrats Canada – Nice Job!

Most of us here in the States take our neighbor to the north for granted. We forget that Canada is our largest trading partner and our most loyal ally on many issues. We do so, in part because of the transparency that exist between our two cultures, one that sometimes means our northern friends get overshadowed. Well, not this time. Canadians are righfully proud today – not only because their athletes did so well, but because their country looked so darn good doing it. If Vancouver does not reap millions in tourism dollars after this 17-day advertisement, I will be shocked. So here is to Canada for a “gold” winning job as Olympic host!
